Royale Rides runs a private chauffeur service from Manchester to London, with fixed prices from £450 one way. Your chauffeur collects you from your address in Greater Manchester or Cheshire East. You travel about 200 miles south in a Mercedes or Range Rover, straight to your London address.

The car is yours alone, never shared with other passengers. Every London booking runs as part of our long distance chauffeur service, confirmed in writing before you travel.
Your chauffeur arrives at your home, office or hotel at the agreed time. You avoid the trip across the city to Piccadilly, and you step out at the exact London address you need.
Your luggage stays in the car from collection to arrival. Before the day, you receive your chauffeur’s name and vehicle details, so you know who to expect.

One or two business travellers usually choose our Mercedes E‑Class chauffeur service. A Mercedes S‑Class chauffeur is our flagship saloon for executives on the long drive south. Families and project teams fit in a Mercedes V‑Class chauffeur.
If you prefer an SUV, book our Range Rover chauffeur hire. Groups of up to 16 can travel together in a Mercedes Sprinter with chauffeur.
Manchester to London Chauffeur Prices
Every Manchester to London chauffeur booking has a fixed price per vehicle, not per passenger. A same day return takes 25% off the return leg.
A return on a different date is charged at the one way price for each leg. Once confirmed, your price applies to the agreed journey. Changes to the route, stops or vehicle can change it.
What Your Chauffeur Fare Includes
Your price covers the chauffeur, the vehicle and the agreed drive from your door to your London address. London road charges are included, and so are airport drop off and pick up fees in London. You never pay the Congestion Charge, ULEZ or a Heathrow drop off fee on top. Motorway tolls, such as the M6 Toll, are the only extra.
Waiting time is included at collection. You get up to 15 minutes at a local address, 30 minutes at a train or bus station, and 60 minutes at an airport with flight monitoring.

One Way, Return or Wait and Return
A one way booking suits trips where you stay in London overnight. A return on another date is two one way bookings at the standard price.
A same day return costs less. The return leg is 25% off, and there is no charge for the time your chauffeur waits in London. This suits a single meeting, an appointment or an event with a set finish time. Give both times when you book.
If you need the chauffeur to drive you between several London appointments, book hourly chauffeur hire instead. That keeps the car and chauffeur assigned to you for the full period.
Manchester to London Journey Time, Distance and Route
From Manchester city centre to central London is about 200 miles. Road time is usually 3 hours 45 minutes to 4 hours 15 minutes. Your exact addresses, the traffic and any planned stops change the final figure.
Your Chauffeur's Route South
Most journeys leave Greater Manchester on the M60 or M56, then head south on the M6. Past Stoke, there are two main routes into London. One stays on the M6 to Rugby, then follows the M1 into north London. The other takes the M6 Toll around Birmingham, then the M42 and M40 into west London.
Your chauffeur picks the route on the day, based on live traffic and your destination. A Mayfair or Kensington drop off often suits the M40. The City and Canary Wharf often suit the M1. The M6 Toll is the one charge not included in your price, and applies only when that route is used.
Planned Rest Stops on the Journey
Tell us about any comfort stops when you book. We plan them into the route before you travel. Each added stop may change the price.
Keele services on the M6 and Norton Canes on the M6 Toll are common choices. Watford Gap and Toddington sit on the M1, and Cherwell Valley sits on the M40.
Best Departure Times from Manchester
Traffic near Birmingham and on the London approaches adds more time than the distance does. Leaving before 6am usually avoids the worst of both. A mid morning start often suits an afternoon arrival. Friday afternoons and the start of school holidays are the slowest times on this route.
